Clown GobyPosted by Scott Collins (Ontario, California, United States) on 5 March 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. This is one of our saltwater fish, who's only about a half an inch long. He's usually bright yellow/orange, but for some reason he can change color to a pale yellow to almost white color.

Katie from Morioka, JapanSo perfect! Did you capture it through glass and water, and it came out this good? Wow. 5 Mar 2008 6:52am @Katie: Yeah, right through the glass. I had an off camera strobe set up to the right, which is why the background is so dark. I was also using a Vivitar 2x Macro tele-converter to get that close. Thanks for the comment! the lightwriter from oosterwolde, Netherlandsfantastic fish portrait. i know how difficult it can be to catch (not on a hook) a fish. 5 Mar 2008 6:34pm |
