Infrared Eye

Posted by
Scott Collins (Ontario, California, United States) on 10 September 2018 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

My previous camera was unable to take Macro images, so when I got my new camera, one of the shots all Equine photographers seem to attempt is the perfect eyeball shot, so I gave it a shot in Infrared. This image isn't color swapped, the eye came out blue with a 590nm filter. The new camera is a Panasonic ZS50 which I'm having a blast with, but it does have its differences in how it reacts to infrared. The horse's real eye color is brown almost to the point of being black.
